New Jersey Business Address

What is a New Jersey business address? It’s a physical street address for your business that you can use on your company’s business formation documents. Using a business address protects your privacy because you can use it instead of your personal address. This is especially useful if you work from home.

Use of our business address is included with our Registered Agent and Business Formation services. This includes unlimited state + legal mail, 3 free regular mail scans, and a 90-day free trial of or website and phone services.

What Makes Our Business Address Different

If you’ve been looking through our website, you know we talk about business address a lot, but that’s because we’re proud that we’re able to offer this to our clients.

Using our business address means maintaining your privacy. By listing our address on your state paperwork, you keep your personal address off public record. Hiring us means protecting your personal privacy while establishing a strong business presence here in New Jersey.

You can count on a secure, stable address for your business. Changing your address on state paperwork, with your bank, and with your clients can be a hassle. With us, you never have to worry about it. A lot of our competitors don’t own the building they operate out of, so if they move to a new building your business address changes with theirs. With us, you can count on your address staying the same.

Because we own our building, we can offer more than just registered agent and business formation services. You can get an office lease, rent our conference room, manage your business mail, phone calls, and text messages on your personal device, and more!

Kasey was absolutely amazing. She provided excellent consumer service and made me a new long term customer for my new business. Just outstanding.”

Why Use a New Jersey business address?

We can think of a few reasons why a business address is a good idea.

Your personal information is kept private.

When you start or register a business in New Jersey, all of the information on your state filing documents become public record. This means that anyone can view your information online. Having a separate business address keeps your personal information out of the public eye and keeps the flood of inevitable junk mail, would-be scammers, and sales people from contacting you at home.

Build your professional credibility.

We understand the benefits of maintaining professionalism for a small business (We’re a New Jersey business, too.), but this can be difficult if you’re running your business from home, work on the road, or can’t afford to rent a commercial business space. Our address is a stable, legitimate commercial address that you can use to avoid looking unprofessional while you work on building credibility with your client base.

Avoid having to change your address.

With us, you can count on our business address staying the same. Don’t worry about updating the Secretary of State, Division of Taxation, or your bank with a new address. We own our building and we’re here to stay.

Have questions about our mail forwarding service? We have answers! Check the FAQ below or send us an email, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Is there a difference between a registered agent address and business address?

The state of New Jersey requires new businesses to list the principal office address and an address of a registered agent on formation paperwork. When you hire us to form your New Jersey LLC or New Jersey corporation, your registered agent address is our address. This is where legal notices and other state documents will be sent.

Your principal office address will be where you receive regular mail. This can be your physical office or place of business, your home address (if you work from a home office) or a business address.

Both your registered agent address and your principal office address become public record when you form your company with the state. By hiring us to list our business address as your principal office address means that you can avoid having to deal with the inevitable onslaught of junk mail, would-be scammers, and annoying sales pitches, all while protecting your privacy.

Can I use my home address as my business address?

You are able to use your home address as your business address. However, keep in mind that if you do, your home address will go on public record, compromising your privacy. Anyone can search the NJ business database and find your home.

What happens to my mail when I use your New Jersey business address?

When you sign up to use our New Jersey business address, you mail is sent to us. Once we get it, we’ll filter out the obvious junk mail, scan your mail, upload it to your secure online account, and notify you when your documents are ready to view.

You get 3 FREE regular mail scans a year. If you’re expecting more than that, we have multiple mail forwarding packages to choose from.

Can I use a PO Box as my business address?

Unfortunately you cannot use a PO Box as a business address in New Jersey. The state requires that you use a real street address for your principal office.

Will you scan my junk mail?

No. We won’t waste your time or ours scanning obvious junk mail. We shred it so you never have to deal with it.

Can I change my business address?

There are several ways to change your business address in New Jersey:

  1. Change your address on your annual report. If you want to change your address and your annual report is due, you’re in luck. You can change your business address for free with the state by including your new address on your annual report, which is due at the end of the month in which your company originally registered.
  2. Change your address with an amendment. If you don’t want to wait until your annual report is due to change your business address, you can update your address by filing a L-102 certificate online through the New Jersey Department of Treasury’s website and pay the $75 filing fee.

Can I use your business address for my Amazon business?

Feel free to use our business address to complete your Amazon verification. However, we do not process product returns, so it’s not a good idea to use our business address as your product return address.
